What's going on at RMS?

This week we begin our Scantron assessments, which will continue over a three week time frame. All of you have worked diligently to prepare our students for the challenging questions they will face on these assessments. All of you have provided the encouragement and confidence our students need to be successful on these assessments. Thanks to you, our students are ready!

We appreciate your help in making our testing sessions a success. This is the first time our students have taken the Scantron as the state assessment and it is also the first time that we have tested in this type of testing conditions. Thank you for your willingness to serve as a proctor, administer a test, and supervise a class. It takes a village to get all of this done but with all of you helping, it will be much easier.

Please continue to encourage your students to do their best. Encourage your students to read their questions thoroughly and taken time to read all the answer choices. Have conversations and discussions with your students about the importance of their results and what it means to decisions that impact their future class choices.

A big thanks to all of you that participated in the Testing Pep Rally. Our students love watching our teachers compete against each other as well as cheering for them. It was a great time for everyone!

Have a great week at RMS!
