Media Center Information Regarding Device Updates for Milestones

As we prepare for Milestones testing, it is more important than ever for students to make sure their devices are up to date. This will also help student devices run efficiently for class use. We are asking students to check for updates every Monday when they get home from school.

Steps to update student devices:

    1. At the bottom of your screen search “Check for Updates”.
    2. Click the gray button that says “Check for Updates".
    3. Please note: devices must be on, open, and charged to run updates. If the device gets closed or goes to sleep, the updates will stop running. If the battery life gets low, the updates will struggle to run.
    4. When the updates finish, restart your device.

Are you moving over the summer?

Summer is often a time when families move and transfer their children to another school. If this is something that your family is planning, please let the Counseling Office know, as it is helpful to know which students are not returning and where they are going. The student’s records will be sent once a Request for Records is requested by the new school through ScribOrder: https://fultonga.scriborder.com/

Please contact Barbara Pieper with any questions, 470-254-8244 or pieperb@fultonschools.org.

School Nutrition to begin accepting Meal Eligibility Applications to support P-EBT Benefits

To support P-EBT eligibility benefits for students, the School Nutrition Program will process Free & Reduced Price Meal applications. By completing an application it may help you to qualify for P-EBT Benefits for next year, however it is unknown at this time if P-EBT benefits will be extended for another year. FCS COVID 19 Reporting

Due to the ever-changing nature of this pandemic, the district will continue to monitor COVID data and recommendations, consult with public health officials, and make additional adjustments as necessary. If your child is sick, please keep them home. Families are still required to report a confirmed positive case of COVID-19, a pending COVID-19 test result (regardless of the reason for testing), and a direct contact with a person who is COVID-19 positive.
