Message From the Principal
Dear BW Families,
What a year of transitions and shifts for our kids as we continue to navigate life in a pandemic. Today we welcomed back our 7th and 8th grade learners to campus and it was nice to begin meeting kids in person. The noise of kids filling our hallways was a welcomed change and made school seem more normal than it has in a while. As we continue to move throughout our 2nd semester, we will continue to work on ensuring that we are meeting the needs of all of our learners. Please note that the BW Learning Hub will still be the main way we stay connected to our virtual classes as well as other important pieces of school information. You can visit the hub by going to https://www.bwlearninghub.org/ or you can always call our main office at 314-290-4280.
This week, our students will have a half day on Friday and the schedule is listed below. In person learners will take home a sack lunch at the end of the day.
Have a great week!
Half Day Schedule for Friday 1/15
Return to School Handbook
The Return to School Handbook, will be able to share some of the changes to our typical school practices. Please read through with your child in order to prepare for some of the changes they will see at school.
A Note from the Nurse
If your student will require daily medication or treatments (inhaler, diabetes care, etc) while back at school, please contact me as soon as possible to arrange medication drop-off. Your student's pediatrician office can fax the following important plans to me if applicable: asthma action plan, diabetes action plan, or seizure action plan. Also, please feel free to call me if you have any questions or updates regarding your student's current health.
Looking forward to keeping your students healthy and safe!
