Internet Safety 101

Internet Do's & Don'ts

  • DON'T share private information (name, school, age, etc.)
  • DON'T send pictures to strangers
  • DO keep you passwords private
  • DON'T open emails from strangers (could possibly be viruses, scams, etc.)
  • DO tell an adult if something bad/negative happens
  • DON'T visit unfamiliar sites unless approved by your teacher/parents

Cyberbulling!

Bullying can even take place online! Remember that the "Internet Playground" is just like a real playground and you should always play nicely. If you wouldn't do it in real life, don't do it online! If you know of or witness any sort of bullying or meanness online, let your parent or teacher know what is going on. Play nice!
