American Hero History Walk

Presented by the UMAC students at Woods Creek

Dear UMAC Parents and Special Guests,

As part of our social studies and reading curriculum, we have been studying the history of our country and how we gained our independence from Britain during the Revolutionary War. As a culminating activity, each student selected an American hero to research. Our UMAC students have been using books, websites, guided reading books and textbooks to gain new information about their hero. Each student is excited to act as their American hero and teach you how they influenced our country!

We hope you'll be able to travel back in time to meet some of our country's greatest heroes!
