Roosevelt was born in Hyde, park New York in 1882. Franklin Delano Roosevelt gave people hope and courage during hard times. Many people think that he was the greatest president in our nation. Roosevelt was a diligent man even though he had a disability. Roosevelt was a great leader.
Early Life
FDR did cool things in his Early life. Roosevelt grew up in a big house and was wealthy. Franklin went to boarding school when he was 14. He helped others!
Personal challenges
FDR was a hard working man. In 1921 Roosevelt got polio and he was unable to walk. FDR went to Warm Springs Ga, for his polio. No workers knew he could not walk after age 39. He had a lot of diligence to get through hard times.
Contributions
F.D.R help others with hard times. FDR served for 4 terms 1933-1945. His famous saying was the only thing to fear itself. Roosevelt died right before the war ended. He did not let his disease prevent him to achieve his goals.
