From the Principal's Desk:
March 15, 2016
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Here we are, almost through Lent and with Easter in our view. It is a time for growth, change, and new life. We are called to put our trust in God and give our lives to Him so that we may glorify Him in all we do. Sometimes this is easy, and sometimes it is not....
After much thought, consideration, and a multitude of prayers, I have accepted the position of Assistant Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Evansville. By no means was this an easy decision, as I have poured my heart and soul into Holy Trinity Catholic School since the first transition meeting in December of 2013. However, I am excited to take a step in my career that will allow me to work more closely with the principals, teachers, and support staff in the diocese and on educational topics at the diocesan level. While I may be leaving Holy Trinity Catholic School as Principal at the end of June, I am looking forward to continuing to serve our school in my new role as Assistant Superintendent.
I have been truly blessed to have been a part of the creation of this incredible school and have been humbled by the trust placed in me to lead our family of saints. I have absolute faith that Holy Trinity will continue to be a vibrant school community simply because we have incredibly supportive faculty, staff, parents, and students. For that reason, Chris and I are excited to have our children continue their education at Holy Trinity Catholic School. I will miss being in the school every day, but will enjoy being a school parent and seeing everyone at various events throughout the year!
Please know that Holy Trinity, and more importantly, each of your children will always hold a special place in my heart! I will continue to keep Holy Trinity Catholic School, the faculty & staff, students, and families in prayer, and ask that you do the same for me.
Holy Trinity, pray for us.
In Christ,
Sally Sternberg
