Reaching Out ~ January 6, 2017
Attention 8th Grade Families
This is a friendly reminder that the orientation session for freshmen students entering Arrowhead High School in fall of 2016 for students from Stone Bank School is on Tuesday, January 17th from 7:30pm-8:00pm. If you cannot make that date or time please attend earlier that evening or on Wednesday, January 20th between 6:30pm-8:00pm. I strongly suggest that all 8th graders and their parents attend. Please see the attached for further information.
Also, on January 9th at 9:15am the school counselors from Arrowhead will be coming to Stone Bank School to meet with the 8th graders and pass out all information that they will need to register for high school classes in the weeks that follow. You are welcome to attend, but are not required to, this is more for the kids at this time.
As we go through this process of helping your child get registered for high school, please feel free to call me or email me with any questions.

2017 Stone Bank 4th of July Parade
Do you want to go to a parade and family festival on July 4, 2017 in Stone Bank? The Lake Country Lions Club is looking for community members interested in continuing this long-time tradition. The Lions Club, formed in 2014 with the merger of the Stone Bank and Hartland Lions Clubs, has been involved with the local parade and fest since at least 1964.
A community meeting will be held at Stone Bank School on Wednesday, January 18 at 6:30 pm in the school library. The Lions are looking for community members who are willing to help at the events as well as working on some of the preparations for the events.
Membership information will be available as well as the Lions are always looking for individuals who want to help in service to the community in our many activities throughout the year.
Any questions, please call Duane Koski, club president, at 262-966-2455.
Thank you for your help,
