Feeling disconnected?
We're more than 1/2 way through the fall semester... are you connecting with other families? Getting to know new people? I would encourage everyone to reach out to someone they don't know this week. It could be a parent in another Foundations class or one of our Challenge mom's or students. These big kids are amazing, God loving, caring young people and you will be blessed to know them and their families. Let's all make an effort to create a stronger community this week. I know several families aren't able to stay for lunch, which happens to be when a lot of that community takes places. If you can rearrange your schedule to stay for even a small portion of the break time, I think you'll find it well worth your time.
Prayer Partners
Have you connected with your prayer partner? Are you asking for or offering support? Please continue to make an effort to build community by investing in your prayer partner.
Joy to the world, Chris Tomlin. joy, unspeakable joy! with lyrics
Parent Off Campus Policy
I want to remind everyone that a parent needs to be on campus with your children at all times. If a situation arises where you need to leave, another parent must be willing to act as guardian, I need to be informed and have a note in writing and signed by both parties. Please speak to me if you have any questions.
The Moore Family - update
Gideon underwent his second treatment of the clinical trial and is doing well. They are seeing small improvements in his muscle strength and are hopeful he will continue to gain strength. Please keep praying! You can continue to contribute funds to Amy Lynn at any time. Thank you!
We have a need for more full-time help in the childcare. If you know of anyone who might be willing to help, please speak with Lisa Bodder.
Family Presentations
Family presentations this week are the Farrington and Padilla families. Next week we have the Dunn family.
Weekly Student Presentation
The weekly presentation topic is "tall tale, legend or fable". Have your students retell an Aesops fable, or a legend such as Greek Gods, King Arthur, or Jack and the Beanstalk using expression, gestures or props to make it interesting.
Yearbook
I've set up an account at Picaboo.com to start collecting photos for our yearbook and end of the year slide show. Go to this link and upload your photos from field trips, class or other events and activities. http://ccdoylestown.picaboo.com If anyone would like to take over the management of this, I would love to pass it along!
