Love Is Not Angry
This Sunday we're teaching kids that Love Is Not Angry as we learn about Paul in Acts 21. Paul chose to respond to condemnation with peace. As he was facing anger and violence he shared his story and what the Lord had done in his life. What overflowed when pressure was applied in Paul's life was a picture of how big the Lord is.
I've never faced pressure like that, but I can imagine that I would be tempted to let it easily push me to anger. However, when I'm rooted in Jesus, I get to remember that He IS love and I get to remain in that!
Maybe you're not facing violent circumstances like Paul, but what about those smaller, everyday annoyances? Is it love or anger that comes out? When kids are having a difficult time following directions on a Sunday, when a parent is snappy at check in, when you keep getting interrupted when trying to lead a small group... does your response come out of love or anger? Let's ask the Lord to keep us rooted in His love, so that's what we're giving away to others this week!

Do You Have a Story to Share from Serving?
On Sunday we heard this story from a parent who's child moved up to their new KidSpring room!
"We picked Elsie up from her new room and she was SO excited! She said 'Can I come back to this class from now on?!' And has told us at least 5 times throughout the day how much she loved her new teachers! Yay!!!
We know there are so many stories that happen every single week, and we'd like to hear yours!
