Girls on the Run is coming to NP3 Elementary! Girls on the Run is a program that inspires girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained coaches lead small teams through research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities and running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-5th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event. We are currently entering our third GOTR season at NP3, with a FULL team of 20 girls participating last year! If you are interested in this program, registration opens on January 21st at www.gotrsac.com. For more information, please contact Mrs. Riehl at priehl@natomasunified.org. We hope to run with you soon!
- Save the Date for Wellness Wednesday: Our 1st Annual K-12 Parent Wellness Fair will be on Wednesday, January 30th from 5:30-7:30 in the NP3 MS/HS Gym.
