Shout Out
Shout Out to LISA LAMBERT for her support to special education during Mr. Wallace’s absence. She has worked hard to modify final exams, collect materials, and prepare the substitute(s) with accommodation trackers and IEPs. We appreciate it!

Employee Transfers
Voluntary transfers for professionals and support staff are an opportunity for employees to explore other positions within their campus/department or District. These are not the same as transfers due to programmatic changes or student enrollment.
All campus positions, support staff and professional, must meet the following guidelines:
- Effective 2019-2020 school year, campus employees seeking a lateral transfer must be at the current campus a minimum of two school years, unless moving into a position defined as a promotion. A promotion is defined by the advancement of an employee within Plano ISD to a new position/higher pay range that may result in a title change, pay increase and/or additional responsibilities associated with the new position.
- Deadline for lateral transfers: Last instructional day of the year.
Transfer Requests
- The Employee must first apply online by using the TEAMS Employee Transfer. FANS and Transportation employees must contact the PISD Help Desk for their User ID and Password in order to submit a transfer.
- The employee must notify the current supervisor when the employee has completed the initial transfer request, as well as any future transfer requests thereafter.
- The employee is encouraged to send a letter of interest and a resume to the Principal and/or Supervisor regarding the open position(s) they are interested in.
- It is the employee's responsibility to monitor open positions in the district.
Supervisor Approval
- The employee must notify the current supervisor when the employee has completed the initial transfer request, as well as any future transfer requests thereafter.
- The current supervisor must approve the transfer in TEAMS before the employee may interview for positions in the district.
- Supervisors are responsible for the timely approval of transfer requests from eligible employees

Health and Wellness
Your Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential information and counseling service provided as a free benefit to you by the Plano ISD Employee Benefit Plan. All full-time employees and members of their households may qualify for up to six EAP counseling sessions per person per problem per year.
The EAP can help with situations such as anxiety, stress, marital or relationship issues, family problems, alcohol and/or drug abuse, depression, grief, and work-related concerns. They will help determine the assistance you need and provide the name of a local licensed counselor with expertise in the area of your need.
They can also prepare personalized Resource Guides on a variety of topics - vacation planning, special events such as weddings, child care, elder care, moving, pet care, education, finding housing, and many more. The Guidance Resources number is 1-800-272-7255.
