BYOD Usage Stoplight:
Red: Device turned off and put in your bag.
Yellow: Lesson might require device. Place facedown onto desk.
Green: You may use your device.
Virtual Classroom Management:
Noise Control
o Bouncy Balls uses the increased agitation of multicolored and sized balls to indicate sound level.
o Calmness Counter uses an analog meter and gauge and lets teachers set microphone sensitivity.
o Traffic Light Flash File lets teachers indicate sound level by setting a green, yellow, or red light.
Timers
Online Stopwatch - count up or count down, multiple timers to choose
Time Me - can count up or down, with or without an alarm, in a loop or not, and in various colors, sizes and fonts

Danielson Evaluation Tool
How often are teachers evaluated in their school? The district follows the state guidelines for teachers in their 1st-4th years of teaching (or entrance into the district) and those who have been teaching 5 years or longer in the district. This evaluation cycle is a time to reflect on your teaching practices, develop a plan for on-going professional development, have professional conversations about pedagogy with your building administrators, and choose sample artifacts that highlight your work as an educator.
How often are teachers evaluated?
- Teachers in their first two years of teaching - Evaluated once each semester. To be completed by the 60th day of the semester.
- Teachers in their 3rd and 4th year - Evaluated once per year. To be completed by February 15th.
- Teachers in their 5th year and beyond - At least one time every three years. To be completed by February 15th.
