Peek at the Week
January 10, 2016
We had a great week back after our break. Your children came back ready to learn, and they remembered their routines and procedures! We were all happy to see their smiling faces.
There is a lot of important information throughout this newsletter. Make sure you check it out so that you can stay informed. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.
It's GREAT to be a Harbins Tiger!
We will be having a blood drive at Harbins January 11, 12-5 pm. Please go online to http://www.redcrossblood.org/ , keyword Harbins and register today to give blood!
All the blood that is donated at our site goes directly to Gwinnett Medical Center. If you or someone you love has ever needed a blood transfusion, you know that it saves lives everyday!! The Red Cross is at an all time low, they need your blood and platelets. Please log in now and use the key word Harbins to sign up for a time. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call Ms. Samples in the clinic. Thank You!
"Day of" Transportation Changes That Occur After Your Child Arrives at School
If a transportation change is needed after the school day has begun, you will need to contact the school by phone and send a signed note by fax, including a copy of your picture ID, stating the change in dismissal transportation for your child. Phone calls alone will not be accepted as verification of the needed change in transportation. Please do not send an email to your child’s teacher, as he or she may not have the chance to check messages prior to dismissal and we must have a note with a signature and a picture ID for changes in transportation. All “day of” transportation changes must be sent to the office no later than 2:00 that day. That is the only way we can ensure that the notice will be received and communicated to your student prior to dismissal.
The Harbins Innovation Fair is coming soon!

CCRPI Parent Survey
Please take a few minutes to complete this very important survey. Your feedback will be a part of our schools CCRPI score, and it is important for us to hear you!
Teachers and staff are engaged with children from 7:45 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. Please help us preserve that time. We ask that if you need to speak with a staff member, you set up a time with that person. This way, we can ensure we are devoting our attention to the children in the building and making sure we meet your needs.
