WSS/ESS Relay for Life Event - Laps of Love

Waterford Street School partnered with Elm Street School to participate in this cancer-awareness/fundraising event. In addition to having a great time (Thanks to DJ Jacob Cormier for volunteering his services!), our students raised nearly $400 selling student-made buttons and raffle tickets. Our combined efforts this year have raised almost $4000 for this noble cause.

Mr. McGann, our outstanding music teacher, and his students put on a fantastic Memorial Day performance! Songs were sung, poems were read, and a wonderful rendition of taps was played. Some women at the Baldwinville Legion Post also made a Memorial Day donation - a new flag for our flag pole out front. The gift was dedicated to a World War II female service member and mother of our own administrative assistant - Joanne Kelly. Her name is Margaret M. Haley.
