Mrs. Joyce Dobek
A True Team Player
What Colleagues Say about Joyce
Joyce always has the best interest of the students she works with at heart. She cares about her co-workers and supports them in every way she can. During remote learning, she created her own Google Classroom to be able to support student learning. Joyce is also very observant and a student herself. So often I see her do things and say things to students that she has learned over the years just from being with different teachers and myself. Finally, the kids love her! She has a wonderful rapport with the students she works from the toughest of them to the easiest going. Joyce always finds a way to connect with the kids.
More Positive Comments
Joyce has demonstrated dedication to Bradley School's staff and students. She comes to school each day, earlier than most, to open the main office and greet teachers. She is the first person many see every morning and she always has a smile on her face. Once the school day begins, Mrs. Dobek joins her second-grade community in 2B. There, she works with her students very closely. She monitors student behavior, helps to implement PBIS strategies, and most importantly, facilitates one-on-one and small group learning opportunities. The kids really love her, as does the staff.

Final Thoughts
Joyce is a very important part of Bradley School. Not only does she assist in the classroom, she helps to make a more comfortable environment for those children who may need just a little more assistance than others. She helps to keep the classroom environment calm so the teacher can distribute her lessons as understandable as possible. When Joyce is not assisting in the classroom, she is assisting in the office. She helps the secretary answer calls, report announcements, and keeps the office environment flowing. She recently helped to find coverage for a class that I had to assist with and possibly miss lunch. With professionalism and ease, she took over the responsibility to do so. This is why I feel that Joyce Dobek would be the best choice for Para of the Year.
