I’m looking forward to our Thanksgiving meal together this coming Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. I trust that you will extend a gracious welcome to the members of Trinity Baptist Church who will join us for the meal. A recurring compliment I hear about you from guests is how warmly they were welcomed or how they were invited for a meal after church. I am incredibly grateful that God’s grace is at work among you producing the result of hospitality!

The Sunday morning after Thanksgiving will be a special service. We will take a break from the Lord’s Prayer to talk about what God says about pastors and leaders in the church. That morning we will appoint Craig Jackson as one of the pastors for our church. To this point, he has been our Minister of Worship and Young Adults. But after observing his life and ministry for over a year, we see and affirm God’s call on him to help shepherd God’s church. I hope you’ll be able to join us for that!
