PTA Updates
December 13- 5:30 PTA Meeting, 2nd Grade Performance @ 6:00 p.m.
Special Request
The KCES staff meeting is coming up on December 6th. Ms. Townes would like to make this meeting a fun event for staff and is providing dinner. The PTA will be providing a sweet treat for dessert. You do not have to be a PTA member or on the Hospitality Committee to donate items - we welcome everyone’s involvement!
We are looking for your favorite holiday cookie or treat ideas. If you have a festive holiday cookie, fudge, pretzel, rice krispy, or any other sweet treat idea please consider donating. As always, store bought cookies and desserts are just as good. We look forward to seeing what yummy holiday treats you share with the staff for their last 2023 meeting before winter break.
Please drop off all donations by the morning of December 6th, and label your containers. We appreciate all your help!

Updates from our Music Department
Our 2nd Graders are rehearsing for their upcoming show “This Old Gingerbread House” on December 13, 2023. The play is a sweet story about some animals who help re-build a home for their friends. We would love to collect donations that would go directly to Habitat for Humanity starting on December 4, 2023 and ending on December 13, 2023. Habitat for Humanity is a non profit organization whose mission is to provide safe and affordable homes to families in Hanover and King William Counties. Cash donations or checks (made payable to Habitat for Humanity) may be brought in and put in the donation box located in the office. We will also collect donations the evening of the concert (12/13/23). There is no goal or expectation, but simply to give back! No donation is too small.
Lost and Found
Parents, please ask your child to check the lost and found area located in the front foyer of our building and on various tables in the next few weeks. We will be donating unclaimed items after December 22nd. Thank you for your help with this.
