Tilly Teen Empowerment Program- This program was created to introduce young adults to life tools that build confidence, inspire compassion, and encourage dreams with a caring, interactive and creative environment. Topics covered in this 8 week series include: Positive Mindset, Finding Good in Everyone, Creating Healthy Options for Challenging Emotions, Learning to Ask for Support, Creating Inner Strength and Problem Solving Strategies. Irvine Parent Education Programs (IPEP) are FREE seminars and educational workshops offered to Irvine parents/guardians throughout the school year. Our goal is to empower parents/guardians with the skills and strategies necessary to become active participants in their student’s education. IPEP offers a variety of workshops focused on topics important to parents/guardians of IUSD students. Experienced instructors and district-level representatives facilitate the interactive workshops, engaging participants in conversations and hands-on activities. The Irvine Family Resource Center is available to IUSD Families and typically serves students/parents who are having difficulty accessing their mental health support through their insurance provider due to lapse of coverage, a limited amount of sessions, not having mental health coverage within their insurance provider or is having difficulty getting linked to an appropriate provider. High School Updates

Financial Aid Night Monday, Sept. 20th at 6pm- Join IUSD School Counselors and guest speaker Jon Waldrep from the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) to learn how you can maximize your student's financial aid opportunities for funding a college education. District Wide PSAT, PACT and PSAT/NMSQT Testing- On October 13th IUSD will host the PSAT 8/9 for freshman, the PACT for sophomores , and the PSAT/NMSQT for juniors. More information will be coming out in coming weeks. Seniors on this day will log into Advisement for an asynchronous activity.


ASB Newsletter- Each month we will be updating our newsletter to include important ASB dates, activities, and information. In our Newsletter this month, you will find information about Club Formation, becoming a Class President, and Freshmen mentor opportunities!
