Seniors,
With those college admissions rolling in, wear your next year's school gear on Friday 2/3. We'll take individual and group pictures in Town Hall. Even if you haven't made a decision yet, wear a shirt, hoodie, etc. of your first choice / dream school.

*Bagged breakfast and Lunch provided

Note: All JUNIORS are REQUIRED to take the exam. The exam will start by 9:00 am and will last until approximately 1:30 pm, standard administration. More details are forthcoming, outlining the arrival time and what you can expect for the test day. Moreover, students will be required to participate in a pre-test session prior to the test date.
For now, you must complete the following:
If you will miss a College Synchronous course on the day of the test, you will need to complete the DTCC Absence Form: An excused absence is defined as a planned absence. Durham Tech students are allowed one (1) excused absence per class per term for a planned event or observance. Students who wish to use an excused absence must submit an Excused Absence Notification form and any supporting documentation at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance of the scheduled absence date.
There are no exceptions to this deadline. Start this process NOW!
Please read each email from Mrs. Tugman regarding the ACT carefully and promptly. By staying apprised of the process, it will make your testing experience on the 15th much easier and less stressful for you.

MCHS Speech & Debate & MCHS Ethics Bowl
All MCHS students are invited to join the MCHS Speech and Debate team. Please see team president Zlata Bogdanova or team vice president, Maya Van Kanegan, with questions. Upcoming tournaments are as follows:
1/21 - DSDL # 4, Cape Fear HS – Fayetteville
2/4 - DSDL # 5, Cumberland Polytechnic HS – Fayetteville
2/25 - DSDL # 6, Apex Friendship HS – Apex
All MCHS students are invited to join MCHS Ethics Bowl meetings each Thursday at 3:35 pm in room 1-150 of the White Building. See team president, Victor Dumme, with questions.
