Reminder - Deadline for Faculty Led Proposals - June 1!

We have great opportunities for Fordham faculty to design and teach short-term programs overseas. The proposals for the 2016-2017 academic year are due June 1, 2016.

What? Ideally, courses will be interdisciplinary, engaged with the site, and consistent with Fordham’s mission as a research university in the Jesuit tradition.

When? Courses can be offered in the summer, or you can add an international component to your fall or spring course with travel during the winter inter-session, spring break, or following commencement in May.

Where?
You can propose a course in Havana, Cuba in collaboration with CIEE; London, England supported by our colleagues at the Fordham London Centre in South Kensington; Rome, Italy where you would be hosted by John Cabot University in beautiful Trastevere; and at University of Pretoria in Pretoria, South Africa. Additionally, you can propose to teach our pre-health program in Cali, Colombia for ten days in May, 2017.

If you have an idea for a course in a location not listed above you can propose it here.

What's provided? Support through the proposal and recruitment process, transportation and accommodation in country, and a stipend will be provided. Faculty will also be supported by staff from partner organizations or institutions while abroad ensuring a safe and successful program.
