October Soaring Eagles - Safe, Kind and Ready to Learn!

Big picture

iReady 10,000 Lessons Challenge

Put those Chromebooks to work!

We are challenging our students to reach a school wide goal of

10,000 iReady Reading and Math lessons completed!

iReady is an online math and reading instructional support tool that helps students build their foundational reading and math skills so they can be more successful in all parts of their learning. It sounds like a huge exciting number to elementary students but will be reached by spring if each student fully completes two online lessons a week. Please sit down with your child as they work through an iReady lesson, quiz and if needed the tutorial,,, just remember not to help them too much because it will move them on to more difficult content they might not be ready for if the answers aren't their own. It is ok that they might miss some questions, iReady is designed to back up and give them the skills to help them be successful at the more difficult stuff.

When the school reaches it's goal students will be treated to an ice cream party!
