MLK Parent Newsletter

November 15, 2020

Dear MLK Parents:

Thank you for making our first week back with TK/Kinder and First Grade students a success! Our students kept their masks on and practiced social distancing. This week we will add on grades 2-3; so please be patient as there will be an increase of vehicles in our drop-off and pick up zones. As a reminder, please be sure to keep your child at home if they have COVID related symptoms and then call us so we can advise you on the next steps. In order to keep our school open we need to all do our part to keep our students healthy and safe.

Also, teachers are now calling to set up parent conferences. Our goal is to have 100% completion for the conferences. We prefer to do zoom conferences however due to the circumstances if that is not possible, our teachers can also call you to review your child's progress. If your child has a new teacher, don't worry their previous teacher will still contact you to schedule your conference date and time.

Thank You,

Dr. Sanchez-Leal
