Executive Director Update
I am excited to be serving as the Executive Director of LibraryLinkNJ. This organization has a long history of providing materials delivery, as well as a wide range of programs and services that support libraries and library staff. My years working in NJ Libraries, and my leadership roles in LibraryLinkNJ and TOPCATS, have created a great foundation to build upon, but now I’m looking forward to learning and growing with all of you.
We have all been through a period of great upheaval during the last sixteen months, and we continue to experience change and uncertainty. While this has brought challenges, it also provides LLNJus with the perfect opportunity to analyze and revise our services and program offerings. My staff and I are here to listen to your thoughts and concerns, and we will do our best to meet and exceed your expectations.
As you can see in this newsletter, our CE team has been hard at work putting together a vast array of continuing education offerings. Upcoming program highlights include a “Privacy Please” webinar series, and an upcoming virtual Information Equity conference scheduled for October 25th.
Let’s move forward together.

Clifton Public School Libraries
When you walk into one of Clifton Public Schools’ 17 library media centers, you’re likely to see a room full of children engaged in reading, exploring, technology and maybe even the start of a grand adventure as they let their imaginations fly! Our media centers foster a love of reading in our young patrons as our diverse collections introduce them to a great variety of genres, characters and book formats. Our media centers also serve as learning hubs in our schools. Students and staff engage in many school community events, book fairs, research projects and challenging Makerspace activities in these friendly, collaborative spaces.
During the pandemic, many authors and illustrators worked with our school library media centers to encourage our students to keep up their reading skills. They sent in photos and videos relaying the message “Keep Reading, Clifton!” and we now feature these in our media centers.
