Peek at the Week
Mrs. Bennett's First Grade News, Week 9 (October 23-27)
A Note From the Teacher
I hope you were able to see the pics from Apple Day on Facebook! We had so much fun and learned a ton along the way! Next Friday, we are learning all about maps! We will map our classroom, our building and our community! I hope your child is enjoying making a map of his/her bedroom for homework this week. We have a week packed full of more learning adventures. We will read Owl Moon and non-fiction owl books. Now we can compare bats and owls! We will continue practicing our reading strategies as we make sure our words look right, sound right and make sense. We will continue pattern books, main idea and detail, handwriting, digraphs and place value. Keep working on counting backward and forward from any number. I hope to have RAZkids up and running this week!
