A Night in Paris
Save the Date! Saturday, May 11, 2019
Our school's annual fundraising Gala is an event not to be missed! It is a night of great food, drinks, dancing, and, of course, raising money for our wonderful school!
In addition to the change of date, we have made an exciting change to the location of our gala! This coming year, the gala will be hosted at the beautiful Vista Valley Country Club. This country club is absolutely breathtaking, not to mention classy! The theme is going to be "A Night in Paris". We are excited about this theme and what our decoration's lead, Kelly Gornick, has planned!
If you are interested in helping out with this wonderful event, email our Gala chair, Megan Handy, at gala@stmesc.org. We have volunteer opportunities that are both large and small, so there is something for everyone.

Uniforms for 2018-2019
As a reminder, we grandfathered our old logo uniforms for the 2017-2018 school year. Last year, it was stated that beginning in 2018-2019, old logos would not be allowed.
For the 2018-2019 school year:
- All polo shirts must have the new (crest) logo. Old logos (knight) will be considered out of uniform, and the child will receive an out of uniform slip when wearing it to school. 3 out of uniform slips result in a detention.
- We will extend the grandfather rule for outerwear for the 2018-2019 school year. Sweatshirts, sweaters, and vests with both the old (knight) and new (crest) logos will be allowed for the 2018-2019 school year, but it will not be allowed beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.
- P.E. uniforms- ONLY the new logo (crest) will be allowed for PE uniforms. Students MUST wear the yellow shirt on PE days (except for Thursday when they may choose to wear their spirit shirt instead). The sweatpants have not changed and will still be allowed.
St. Timothy VBS
This year, it will take place from June 25th-June 29th from 9-12 each day. The cost is $55 with a limit of $100 per family. It is open to children ages 4+. Students going in to Pre-K through fifth grade will be allowed to attend as campers. Students entering sixth grade and up can volunteer to help. There is no cost for volunteers. Several of our students go each year, both as campers and volunteers, and they have a great time! To learn more information, visit their website here. Registration forms can be found below. Hard copies went home a few weeks ago.

A Note From the Preschool Director
Dear St Mary Families,
With the school year ending, our students have wonderful changes and new beginnings ahead of them. The beauty of change is learning and growing as a person. I, too, have ended this year at St. Mary ready to start a new journey somewhere different. I have accepted a new challenge at Rady Children’s Hospital. My time at St. Mary Preschool was full of enriching experiences where strong relationships were built, and I got to witness first hand children build their relationship with God. I have enjoyed my time here at St. Mary, and I am excited for new beginnings. Be assured that everything will be left in good hands. I will make sure Summer Bible Camp has a smooth transition!
Sincerely,
Andrea Wilson
