Next School Year: AM or PM preference form

Early Childhood/Preschool students returning to the ELC 23-24 SY:

Our schedule will be the following for our preschool students as of February 27th. Please fill out the following form if you have a strong preference regarding AM or PM classes. We cannot guarantee your preference but we always strive to work with families. Our survey will close on May 18, 2023 as student sectioning will occur on May 19, 2023.


Morning Session: 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Afternoon Session: 12:05 p.m. - 2:40 p.m.
Wednesday Early Dismissal: 2:10 p.m.

For families that transport your child each day to the ELC, please utilize the new Prairie Middle School parking lot if you arrive after 8:00am or 12:05pm as the parking lot will be congested. Please park and walk your child over to the building.

Our district Health and Wellness Policy supports the state level effort to combat childhood obesity. In addition, we have students in our school with allergies that we need to keep safe. In support of this effort, we do not celebrate birthdays with treats. We recognize that birthdays are an important occasion in a child's life, and we do honor that. Teachers have special birthday traditions in their classroom to recognize a child’s birthday. Please do not bring in treats into the building as we will need to send them home with your student. Thank you for honoring this decision as we support the health and wellness for all our students.

All students were provided with transportation. If you would like to decline transportation service and will be transporting your child to and from ELC, please contact Arely Gamez (ELC admin assistant) at agamez@barrington220.org or call 224-770-4300.


If you would like to request Alternate Transportation from a daycare provider or another location within Barrington 220 district boundaries, please request that directly at the link below. It will take 72 hours for any change to be effective.

On the following dates, ELC students will not have school. We conduct developmental screenings in order to accept new students to our program. At this time our March screening is full, but if you have students that will be 3 in the next year feel free to sign up using the forms below.
