I believe that the Berlin Wall, Victory Tower, And the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church are all important monuments to Germany.

Traditional costumes include Lederhosen (leather pants), Dirndlkleider (dresses with gathered waists and full skirts, worn with an apron), Bavarian suits, and alpine hats.
Food
Black Forest Cake
Black Forest Cake is made with layers of chocolate cake soaked in kirsch (a type of brandy), cherries, and whipped cream.
Holidays
Fasching
Fasching is Carnival the celebrations begin at the 11th minute of the 11th hour and are meant to say bye to winter and a welcome spring. All schools close for a week, and children and adults dress up. Parades with music and dancing happen on this day.
Sylvester
New Year's celebrations begin on Sylvester (31 Dec.) with fireworks and parties, followed by a public holiday on 1 January. Germans like to go skiing and hiking in the snow during this season.
