April 11-13 KHS/SFHS will have changes to the schedule because of State testing, SAT's, and other grade level testing. We will send several communications (starting Friday, April 1st) out to make sure everyone is aware. Please check your emails frequently so that you know the schedule for your student.

2022-23 Returning Student Registration
KSD Open Enrollment Window Open
In the Kuna School District, every school offers an excellent education for students. The district is committed to sustaining outstanding schools and fostering strong relationships between parents and teachers.
We recognize that some assigned school attendance areas may not meet the needs of families in our district, and there are families who live out of our district boundaries who want to choose our schools for their children.
Idaho law (33-1402) allows us to offer an opportunity to apply for a change of school through open enrollment.
2022-23 School Year
The application window will be from March 1 to April 30. School leaders will review applications in May and families will be notified later in May about whether their application can be granted.
REMINDERS:
Student Pick up & Drop off in Student parking lot only
Please do not drop/pick up your student off in the staff parking lot. We have placed signs in the front and ask that you follow our request.
Thank you for considering the safety of our students and staff.

Student Release during the School Day
If you need to get your student released from school for an appointment please call at least 30 minutes ahead of time so that we can assist in a timely manner. After you call your student out, we will send a slip to their classroom with a release time and they can meet you outside at the arranged time. You do not need to come into the building.
Attendance Correction Slips - Intervention
If your student was on campus and was marked absent, please have them come to the main office and get an attendance correction slip. Your student will take it to the teacher that marked them absent, the teacher will make any corrections on the slip, (tardy or present) when your student returns the slip, attendance will update.
