September 4 - September 7, 2018
Our new social emotional focus for the month of September is Responsibility. Each day they will hear a lesson about being responsible on the morning announcements. Perhaps your child clears the dinner table or empties the trash cans. How can you help them learn about responsibility at home?
Mrs. Mulay will be reading the book of the month to all classes during their library time. It is one giant book club where students have a common experience that they can connect with each other about. This month's book is What If Everybody Did That?
SPIRIT DAY FRIDAY!
Wear your Ventana Vista t-shirts to school for a class spirit picture!
Family of the Month!
What they like most about Ventana Vista is they get the children interested in learning and excited to be at school every morning! They love the excellent teachers; they're supportive and approachable. They love the lovely office staff and appreciate their dedication!

•Thanks to Emy Reidle for chairing the EduKit school supply drive and Spirit Wear! Both were very successful and the t-shirts look great on Friday Spirit Days.
•Fundraising is well underway to raise money for the annual Fifth Grade camping trip. So far they have $200 towards the trip!
•Join us for the next general FFO meeting on Tuesday, September 25th at 8:30am. Dr. Kamerzell, district superintendent, will be coming to speak about the upcoming bond overrides and learn about upcoming events, such as Halloween Trunk or Treat!
