April 8th

Happy Friday!

We had a great week back returning from spring break, even though some winter weather delayed our return. I know our students enjoyed playing with the snow during recess at different times throughout the week. It was fun to have our campus full of excited students.

April, May and June are always full of events. There are always a lot of different things going on and opportunities to get involved. Please continue to refer to these newsletters for reminders of dates and upcoming activities.

In May, we will begin our state testing for 3rd-5th graders. Our students take the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA). If you have a 3rd-5th grader, please take some time to talk with your student about the SBA and think about ways we can work together to support your student during testing. The SBA is a tool we use to monitor student growth and achievement, participation in the assessment is important.
