August 2018

A new start.

A new school year at Peak School begins with a fresh start in the Library, my name is Rebecca Rigden Green and I am your new Librarian. I’m so impressed with the legacy of Mrs. Rodwell and Mrs. Mills-Campbell, the children of Peak school have a well resourced and wonderful environment to discover unknown places and marvellous characters, and to just be lost in a book. Once I’ve settled into this role I intend to continue in the same way nurturing and encouraging the growing readers in the school.

For now, the library is closed as we prepare for the year ahead, but Mrs. Chan and I will be ready to welcome the students back in and issue books from next week. We have been busy updating the catalogue and the children are in for some real treats this coming school year.

Below is a small selection of the books that have been added this week and there are many more too!
