WHS Weekly Update
April 20, 2020
I hope this newsletter finds you all healthy and making the best of our new social distancing reality. Every week seems to bring some surprises, like our recent snow in April. The near 60 degree temperatures the next day made short order of that ground covering, and the daffodils popped right back up to grace our gardens and roadsides.
We are entering week three of Phase 2 of our Remote Learning Plan and I remain very impressed with the work that the staff is doing to create meaningful lessons for students in this new virtual instruction phase we have entered. Our fabulous staff has risen to the challenge and I encourage students to take full advantage of the excellent learning opportunities that staff is creating for you. It is important that you remain engaged in your learning so that you can earn credit for the second half of the year and be positioned for your future success when you re-enter traditional classroom learning at WHS or beyond.
