Telegraph Intermediate Update
TOGETHER WE WILL SOAR
A message from the Principal
Dear Telegraph Intermediate Parents and Families:
Last week was a busy week at Telegraph! I apologize for the lateness of this newsletter. Students were busy learning and we were growing in our virtual learning too. I hope this week our routines continue with communication and google meets.
This week students will continue our A/B schedule with Wednesday being an all distant learning day. Many of our teachers are requesting "Special Classes" lessons be completed on this day. Our teachers are also looking for ways to be more available to your child when they are at home learning. Please see the email addresses below for contacts when your child is at home learning.
Midterms go home this Friday, there will be minimal grades as we have finalized the benchmark test and the getting to know our routines of the year. Teachers will be sending home reports for STAR Reading and STAR Math, along with additional information about distant learning. Grades are being updated each week, you can find real time grades in the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus.
Reminder-we are currently not allowing visitors inside the building. We however are allowing for birthday treats to be shared with classmates only. If your child has a birthday you may send in those treats with them on their face to face learning day.
Library check out has begun, if your child requests books from Mrs. Blythe she will pull those books twice a month and send them home. They are able to check out five books per time. The book drop is in the lobby as they finish those books.
Character Council application is attached to this newsletter for your child to complete if they would like to be considered for a position in their grade level. The meetings will begin as virtual on Wednesday in the near future. Mrs. Burton and Miss Roberts are the sponsors of this club.
As always don't hesitate to contact my office if you need immediate assistance. For our face to face learners please return any and all paperwork that was sent home this week for signatures.
