We sent a school messenger on Friday, however, for some reason the report that came after indicated it did not reach everyone. We are working with technology on this and will ensure our communication reaches all families.

Student Badges

All Park Hill students are issued ID badges. These badges, along with a school-issued lanyard will be required to be worn every day. Student ID badges support our safe and caring environment by providing proper identification and improved processes for several aspects of the school day. Students will use the badges to pay for lunches in the cafeteria, when boarding our school buses, and for our library check-out process. Your child's badge will be provided by the school and one replacement badge will also be provided (in case of a lost badge). After the first free replacement badge, a $5 fee will be charged for each additional badge. More information about the use of student badges in the Park Hill School District can be found here.

Image/Contact Information Opt-Out

Park Hill School District often takes or allows members of the media to take photographs and audio-video recordings for positive recognition and promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out of any media or photographs of your child, an opt-out form is available through the school office.

2019-2020 Free and Reduced Lunch Applications

Children need healthy meals to learn. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. Please fill out and drop off the forms at the front office. These forms do not carry over and must be filled out each year.

Free and Reduced Lunch Application

Kidguard Information

The Park Hill School District offers all parents the opportunity to enroll their child in a low cost, school approved insurance program. More information and the application can be found by following this link.

Volunteers are important to the success of the Park Hill School District, and we appreciate their service to our schools. In order to keep our children safe, all volunteers who might ever be around students without an employee present must be screened. The screening packet can be accessed HERE.

Additionally, a huge thank you to all of our parent volunteers that helped get classroom ready for the start of the year!

School Safety

All Park Hill schools have cameras at the front entrance of each building, allowing front office staff to see who is visiting prior to allowing them inside. All visitors are required to show their ID upon entering, and then will need to sign in using the Raptor System. The first time you check in, we will scan your driver's license, after that, you will be able to log in by scanning your license. A visitor sticker with your photo will be generated for you to wear while you are in the building. Please feel free to stop by the office at your convenience to scan your ID. Visitors are not able to go beyond the office without completing the Raptor sign-in process. Thank you for your patience and cooperation with this process, as we all keep in the mind that the safety of our students is top priority.

Student Medications

A health room is available if your child becomes ill or injured while at school. Hopewell's health room is staffed by two nurses, who share this position. All non-prescription, over-the-counter medication must be sent in the original container with written instructions by the parent or physician. Before any prescription medication can be administered, it must be in a prescription labeled bottle accompanied by a doctor's note, and the Medication Authorization Form must be completed and signed by the parent or guardian. Parents must bring all medication to the health room; please do not send it with a student. All necessary forms can be obtained from the office.

Classroom Treats

To protect the health and safety of all our students, only pre-packaged treats can be brought to school to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions. Due to possible food allergies, please consult your child's classroom teacher before treats are brought to school. As a convenience, Park Hill Nutrition Services offers a variety of healthy treats that may be purchased and delivered to your student's classroom. You can contact the office or the cafeteria for more information about this option.

Birthday Treats will be first brought to the nurse to check for classroom allergies and then will be delivered to the cafeteria for celebration during lunch.

Nominate a Staff Member for the Park Hill STAR Award

Our employees are the reason we are so successful here in the Park Hill School District, and we would like to recognize them for all they do for our students.

That is why we present the Park Hill Star award once a month to a pre-K or elementary teacher, a secondary teacher and a support employee. Anyone can nominate an employee for this award by using the form below. It asks you to share how your nominee demonstrates our district values of continuous improvement, high expectations, integrity, visionary leadership and student focus. You can also share how your nominee supports the goals in our district’s strategic plan.
