What is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder?
Post-traumatic stress disorder is the development of systems following exposure to a traumatic event.
What are Signs and Symptoms?

How does it affect someone?
PTSD causes a lot of stress on the people who lived the event. Also, it may make them go a little insane. They will have anxiety, fear, and strong emotions. They will get easily irritated have the jitters, and have trouble eating and sleeping.

How is it diagnosed?
If you have experienced a trauma, then most likely you have this disorder. If you have some of the symptoms in a range of three months after the event, you have PTSD.
How is it treated?
Many things can help someone with this disorder. If you are a family or friend of the person with PTSD, then help them if they need anything. Also, metal health professionals can help with this. Make sure the person is in a a safe environment and is relaxed so they don't stress out as much. All these things can help people with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
