The Editor

General Overview

Your job is to set the format of the newspaper and to fully edit and revise all print and non-print text. You will also be responsible for composing and OP-Ed (opinion-editorial) in which you comment on the Salem Witch Trials. You may oppose or support hangings, BUT your essay must be meticulously researched.

In addition, you are also responsible for the design and layout of the newspaper. (Since we do not have a license for MS Publisher—please do your best with your own design in MS WORD, or other programs you have access to...Ms. Webb will do a lesson on Smore (the program you're reading this on!)

In order to become the future George Will or Anna Quindlen, you need to do your research and write your opinion in a way that will grab attention and change minds. The Editorial content must take a stand regarding a controversial issue regarding The Salem Witch Trials of 1692.
