Principal's Pride
Kaylee earned a ticket in the classroom and chose to read to the class. She practiced a book many times to be ready, and she was very fluent when she read to the class. Great work Kaylee, and thank you for sharing your reading with the classroom!
Abigail is a very kind and helpful friend in our class. When another child dropped a bucket of toys on the floor, Abigail quickly offered help. Your teacher is so happy to have you in her class Abigail!
Gabriel has been working really hard at doing things independently and is really improving. He uses kind words and manners with his teachers and friends. Keep up the good work Gabriel!
James did an outstanding job on his math this week. He did a fantastic job using a variety of strategies to solve addition and subtraction story problems. His teacher is also very proud of him. Way to go James!
Baylynn has been making impressive connections to stories this year. She can often think of a deeper meaning to the author's purpose. This is such a challenging process for 1st grade. Keep it up Baylynn!
Beckett has a positive attitude about learning and always tries his best. He is a caring friend in our classroom and will often ask others to join in play. Thanks for being you Beckett!

In the LMC
Bathroom/Locker Room

PACE sponsored Teacher Appreciation Week
Do you want to show appreciation for your child’s teacher, and you just don’t have the time, energy, or creativeness to make it happen? PACE is the solution!
We will be hosting a teacher appreciation week again this year, May 1st-5th. During the week we plan on providing the teachers with special treats each day, small tokens of affection, and gifts for each teacher at the conclusion of the week.
You can be involved in any way you choose: monetary donation, food, gift cards, gift baskets, or time and energy.
Please contact Beth Schneider 715.577.3878 to get involved in showing our teachers how much we appreciate them!
Looking for more parent involvement in making decisions for our school
There are a couple specific ways that parents can be more involved in their child's school. First is to attend the PACE meetings. We will be extending our Building Leadership Team work into our PACE meetings each month so that we can share building level data and involve parents in decision making that will directly impact our educational programs and systems. If you are interested in hearing more about what happens inside the building and more a part of the decisions that impact your children please attend the PACE meetings each month.
Second is the Open House Planning Committee. Early in May we will be making plans for our start of the school year Open House Event. I will be looking for 3-6 parent volunteers to join this planning committee. If you are interested in helping to plan or if you simply have ideas that we should consider for the elementary Open House, please complete the Open House Survey below.
