Happy June!

Wow! Can you believe that we are almost finished our school year! It seems like yesterday that we were meeting all of you for the first time. We hope that you are as proud of your children as we are, they have grown SO much this year!

Highlights from last week....

Our focus last week was "what can help us get from here to there?" We read and wrote stories relating to this topic and answered questions relating to the text.

In Math, we began Module 6, which focused on shapes.

A peek at our learning this week....

Notes from Mrs. Potter

It is hard to believe that we only have 3 more weeks if school!! This is such a busy time of the year! We are going to be very busy and time is going to fly by!! We will end the year strong, working hard and making sure we are enjoying our last few weeks together!! :)

Notes from Mrs. Maillet

What a busy week for our children! They have been working so hard on their upcoming performances. A notice went home with the details of what your child should wear during the nursery rhyme play.

I also sent home a notice asking for feedback for our classroom celebration, which is scheduled for June 19th. It looks like the majority of parents would like to be present during the celebration and not view via Facebook Live. If you have not filled out the form, please do so that I can plan accordingly. Thank you in advance!

Notes from Miss Driscoll

I can’t believe it is already June!! Your children have come so far since September. We have another busy week ahead of us with our spring concert, June 4th at 9 a.m. and our nursery rhyme play, Friday, June 8th at 1:30 p.m. A notice will be sent home Monday regarding what your child should wear Friday for our Nursery Rhyme play. The children have worked very hard and are so excited about performing! We hope to see you there!

As always, please continue practicing reading and mathematics at home!

Notes from Mrs. Marcoux

We are loving our new literacy program. Last week we read a child friendly excerpt about Odysseus. The children loved it when I told them they will read the grown up version of the book in college.

Tomorrow is the kindergarten spring concert (a reminder for the children in my class to wear red shirts). Friday will be the Nursery Rhyme Play, I can't wait for you to see it. We have been working so hard practicing for the big performance.

Have a great week,

Mrs. Marcoux

Notes from Mrs. Goldthwaite

We had a great week of learning! Our friends LOVE the new Wonders Reading Program. They are really producing some wonderful writing! We have also been practicing really hard for our Nursery Rhyme Play. We can't wait to present it!

Don't forget about the concert tomorrow! Our friends should wear jeans and a solid colored shirt that matches the hat they made in Art.

Also, a big thank you for the Clorox Wipes!!!

Here is to a GREAT WEEK!!!!
