MOMS Club® of Buckingham North

July 2015 Minutes for Moms

Message from the President

The 4th of July is one of my personal favorite times of the summer. It is a time where everyone comes together to show their patriotism for this great country and red white and blue is everywhere. American flags and ribbons adorn houses and buildings, the smell of BBQ is in the air and fireworks light up the night sky. It's a time for kids running around happily outside, splashing in pools, eating watermelon and watching firework displays with wide eyes in a state of wonderment. It is a day that brings everyone together and truly feels like summer! Happy 4th to everyone!

Past Events

June was a month of outdoor activities! There were several park days, including a new park to try with a spray pole that the kids had fun running in. We went strawberry picking on what seemed like the hottest day of the year so far, but it was a lot of fun! The kids got to learn about earthworms, see several different animals, go on a wagon ride around the farm and pick fresh strawberries. The End of the Year dinner was a great night out and our Members Social this month was held at the annual "A Day in the Park" at Bush Park. The kids had a blast with all the different activities.
