During the Industrial Revolution many pros and cons took place. But were these cons yet to be necessary?
Poor Factory Conditions
Although there many were many job opportunities, there were tons of poor factory conditions. Many workers lost there fingers and in extreme cases, they lost their limbs.
Child Labor
During the industrial Revolution, many parents would sell there children to factories to provide money. The children's futures were threatened by insufficient diet and healthcare.
Extreme Working Hours
Workers did get paid, however, it was not enough to cover the hours of work they put into there job. Many workers demanded there hours be cut from 13-14 hours per day to 10 hours a day. In result of to many hours, many workers believed it was right to commit suicide as an escape of labor.
Many pros took place during the Industrial Revolution such as, new inventions, job opportunities, and mass production. On the other hand, the cons gave a stronger impact on society because of poor factory conditions, child labor, and extreme working hours.
