Holiday Gift Giving Program
Formerly the Teddy Bear Tree, Please Support the SPCC
Make a Holiday Wish Come True
Each year Nazareth College partners with the Society for the Protection and
Care of Children (SPCC) to collect holiday gifts for children and young
families in need. The SPCC has many programs that help children affected by
violence and domestic abuse. They also work with young parents who are
struggling to complete their education, find sustaining jobs, and care for
their little ones.
Now here's what you can do:
1) Starting today visit the TREE found just past the Circulation Desk in the Lorette Wilmot Library and Media Center and select a CANDLE from the tree outlining gift suggestions.
2) Get together with some friends who want to help.
3) Go shopping!
4) The most important step: Return your gift to the library Circulation
Desk unwrapped no later than Monday, December 1st with the CANDLE securely attached. If you can return your gift earlier please do! (That helps us to keep things organized!)
The gifts will then be delivered to the Society for the Protection and Care
of Children. These gifts will comprise a “store” where parents and guardians can select the items most needed by their individual child.

Two Ways to Give
This year the SPCC is combining the Holiday Gift Project and their Annual Appeal. As a result, you will have the opportunity to both donate a meaningful holiday gift and/or contribute financially to support the critical services that children need all year long. If you prefer to contribute a financial donation you can do so by following this link: http://www.spcc-roch.org/
Don't miss out on this chance to make a difference in a child's life or to help a young adult!
We can guarantee you won't regret it! For more information about the SPCC, and
