Greetings Benfield Families!


I would like to send out a huge thank you to all the parents and family members who supported the Benfield Variety Show. It was a hit! The students demonstrated their talents with excellence, and all are so proud of the work that went into their performances. They really did a wonderful job!


The night would not have been possible without the amazing organization, planning, and time of Kelly Conklin. Kelly, you did an amazing job, and we are all very grateful for your time and dedication to making the Variety Show a success.


Arrival and Dismissal Updates

Car Riders: Once you are in the car line, please do not pull around other cars. If your child is not able to get out of the car themselves, you will need to park and walk your child to the sidewalk using the cross-walk.


Tardy Students: Any student who arrives after 8:00 a.m. is considered tardy. We continue to have many students who arrive late to school. Even when a child is 5 minutes late to class, this impacts their ability to be ready and prepared for the school day.


When your child is tardy, please walk them into school. An adult needs to sign the child in to school when late.

The Benfield School Store is open every Wednesday from 7:40 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Registration: 2023-2024 School Year

Registrations for school year 2023-2024 will begin in April (specific dates are TBD). Please check the county website, aacps.org, for information about required documents, as well as dates for pre-k applications, and K-5 enrollments. All registrations will be done online through the county’s registration dashboard.

Dear Benfield Elementary School families,


Congratulations to the Second Grade for winning the December incentive and Fourth Grade for winning the January incentive!

· Buy Box Tops products. With hundreds of participating products, there are lots of chances to earn!

· Scan your receipt with the Box Tops app within 14 days of purchase and automatically earn for Benfield Elementary School with every Box Tops product you buy.

· If you shop online, you can earn with your digital or email receipt, too. See how to submit those receipts here.

· Our goal is to earn $1,000.00 through Box Tops this year. We are currently 6% of the way there!

Remember, you can earn a bonus for our school by referring your friends, family and other parents at Benfield Elementary School to sign up for Box Tops. You'll both earn a bonus when they scan their first receipt with the Box Tops app. Every Box Tops product counts towards our goal. Let's make a difference together. We can do this!
