Miss Egan's 4th Grade Newsletter

Room 27

Happy Spring!

I hope you all have enjoyed your first couple full days of spring, even if it hasn't felt like it! Hopefully the warm, sunny weather will be here before you know it.

As you are all aware by now, I will be remaining in 4th grade with your students for the remainder of this year! I am very excited by this news and am looking forward to working will all of you for several more months!

We're twitter famous!

Check out Mr. Roe's twitter page or the Seylar twitter page to see a snapshot of Mr. Roe's visit to our classroom yesterday!

Spring Break

Just a reminder that school will be closed on April 3 and April 6 as per the revised district calendar linked below. Enjoy the time with your friends and families!

Math Information

Math class recently has been all about fractions! We have been having a good time learning about equivalent fractions, how fractions relate to decimals, how to write fractions as decimals and decimals as fractions, and what division has to do with fractions.

As always, keep practicing those math facts at home! I am so proud of our students because I have seen big improvements in quick recall of multiplication and division facts!

Reading Olympics

Congratulations to our students who participated in Reading Olympics yesterday! They all did a great job and should be very proud of themselves! Way to go Maia, Chelsea, Brenna, Kyle, Pearl, and Will!
