Judges' Docket
Week of 11/27/2022
November is National Native American Indian Heritage Month
“Certain things catch your eye, but pursue only those that capture the heart.” Native American Proverb.
November celebrates cultures, customs, and contributions of American Indians, Alaskan Natives, indigenous tribes, and people throughout America. At John Handley High School we are proud of our students, families, teachers, and staff from Native American descent, and continue to learn, grow, and celebrate all the cultures that make our DNA.

Attendance matters - Every day counts!
Did you know that missing 10% (just 2 days each month) can drastically affect a teen’s academic success?!
This week a friendly attendance competition between grade levels started. Each Friday we will announce a class winner for the best attendance for that week. The class president will be called to the office to claim the Attendance Gavel for the week. The class with the most wins will be rewarded with a pizza party at the end of the school year.
JHHS Schedule For Virtual School Days
When school is closed due to inclement weather, all students will attend classes virtually unless notified otherwise. Below is the JHHS virtual day schedule. Mandatory virtual attendance is expected for all students. Teachers will post Google Meet codes in Canvas and students will be required to attend class during the scheduled assigned times. Attendance will be taken in PowerSchool for each block.
