The Sidewalk Showcase is a self-guided art tour through Livingston County’s nine downtown districts that showcases more than 100 works of art, designed by local artists and incorporating inspirational words, in storefront windows in our downtown businesses. The pieces are all created on wooden boards using different mediums and encouraging viewers to feel inspired.
This is the first art trail of its kind and is part of an initiative by Livingston County Economic Development to bring public art to the downtowns.
The following students created artwork to be displayed throughout Livingston County:
Ella Heminway, Ellie Camp, Shannon Howe, Anna Everhart, Chloe Bush, Kailey Annise, Addy Schiedel, Jorja Harvey, Alicia Ritzler, Piper Hulsey

Congratulations Edward Brown- National History Day Winner!
Edward Brown qualified for the National History Day competition by winning the NYS History Day competition with video documentary Belvedere, Gdansk, and the Round Table: The Polish Path to Freedom
This competition is highly competitive with top students from top high schools all over the high school. In a lot of schools (private schools) this competition is a class students take or it is like a sports team where a coach has a salary and they meet regularly. Edward did this all on his own and beat out these other schools. Already this is a HUGE deal. The national competition is serious where Bill Gates and Ken Burns have been guest speakers. Winners of the national competition in some categories are already offered full scholarships to universities like University of Maryland and Case Western.
