Davis/Martin Peek at the Week
February 5-9
Dear Parents,
On Friday, some students received order forms for the Red Wolves Read program they have been participating in. Every student who reads 10 books/reading assignments will receive a free ticket to the AState basketball games on February 22nd against Appalachian State. The order forms must be filled out and returned in order for each student to receive their ticket. Their is also a space on the form for adult tickets to be purchased for $7. This is a such a great deal! (Students need to read 2 personal book choices to receive a free ticket. Mrs. Martin is counting 8 reading assignments done in class for the rest. The deadline for reading personal books will be THIS Friday).
Girls' Club will be singing/visiting with local nursing homes THIS Thursday, February 8th. Girls will need to return their permission slips and $4 for lunch by TUESDAY. Students can practice the songs we will be singing by signing up for the Girls' Club Google Classroom using the code provided on the permission slip. Girls will be asked to wear red or pink for this field trip.
Mid-quarter reports (for 3rd quarter) will be sent home on Friday. We ask that you sign and return them by Tuesday of next week. As always, we will return them back to you.
Night of the Arts is right around the corner! Students are working on their Genius Hour projects. We need your help in putting our silent auction baskets together! If you have an item to donate, you may bring it to school at any time and we will hold onto it until we get closer to March 8th.
