Arrival/Dismissal
8:45 AM - DOORS OPEN FOR STUDENT ARRIVAL (there is no supervision prior to 8:45 AM)
9:00 AM - school starts / instruction begins
3:50 PM - end of school / student dismissal
AS THE WEATHER GETS COLDER, PLEASE SEND YOUR STUDENT TO SCHOOL DRESSED ACCORDINGLY. STUDENTS WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE RECESS OUTDOORS WHEN TEMPERATURES ARE ABOVE 10 degrees. STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE COATS, GLOVES, & HATS. IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF COLD WEATHER ITEMS PLEASE SEE INFORMATION REGARDING OUR "CARE CLOSET" PROVIDED AT THE END OF THE NEWSLETTER BELOW.
SAFETY REMINDERS
For the safety of our students, families and neighbors please be reminded of the following:
- follow the direction of crossing guards
- cross where there is a crossing guard present
- do not walk through or drive into the bus parking lot
- watch pedestrian crossings
- do not block residential driveways
- follow rules of the roads
- drive the speed limit
- stop at stop sign
- do not make a u-turn on Boulder Hill Pass
- right turn only out of parking lot during arrival and dismissal
BOULDER HILL FAMILY & COMMUNITY NIGHT WAS A SUCCESS!
We would like to thank the following presenters for their time and sharing of their knowledge and expertise. We will share additional presenter information as they become available.
- Michelle Earley (SD308 Family Support Specialist and Parent Educator) & Dr. Jadon Waller (SD308 Director or Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) for their presentation on the upcoming "Be Strong" family community cafes.
- Diana Pinon ( SD308 Bilingual Parent Educator Assistant) for our Spanish session on the importance of building routines for children.
- Dr. Heidi Podjasek (SD308 Director of Social Emotional Learning (SEL)) for her presentation on "Understanding and Teaching Our Kids About Emotions"
- Sherry Pichodko (National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) representative) for her presentation on ending the silence around mental health conditions from her own personal journey.
- Dr. Jennifer Stafiej (Clinical Psychologist at Family Counseling Services of Aurora) & Erin Carlson (Director of Counseling at Family Counseling Services of Aurora) for their presentation on the types of services offered within the Autism Treatment & Support program.

PTA Cherrydale Fundraiser & Spirit Wear orders
- Spirit Wear orders have been given to your student's teacher and will be sent home with your student Monday or Tuesday next week.
- Cherrydale orders not picked up by Friday, December 17 will be donated. We are unable to store these items.
- You can pick up your orders during school hours Monday - Friday from 8:15AM - 4:15PM.
