October 2022
Happy October Families!
Hello Wildcat Families,
As we begin our 2nd Quarter, I would like to stress the importance of attendance. The 2nd quarter of school has many holidays and our teachers have less time to teach and prepare them for upcoming testing in December. We ask that you please make sure to schedule appointments after school and reconsider pulling them out of school early or bringing them late.
We would also like to encourage you to please have your students get onto Imagine Language and Literacy/Imagine Math/Imagine Math Facts (K-5) at least 30 minutes per day to support with ongoing learning. Students 6th-8th grade may use IXL to reinforce learning at home as well. During Fall Break, we will have a challenge for numbers of hours each student that uses Imagine Learning/IXL.
Let’s make October amazing!

Leaders Read Up!
As a school, literacy is important and we want to encourage our students to read as much as possible. We have a program called 20/20. We ask that each student read 20 minutes for at least 20 days per month and log each book they read on our reading log. At the end of the month your child will submit the 20/20 reading log to their teacher. If your child reads chapter books, please document each chapter read for daily reading. We recognize our students reading achievement monthly. Please help us motivate your child to read!
