Kindergarten and Third Grade Collaboration

Kindergarten and third grade students created a business to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House at Central DuPage Hospital. Thank you to Mr. Shaw for producing this amazing video, which highlights their journey!

Parent Assurance Review Survey

You should have received an email this week containing a link to our online school PAR survey. We are requesting 5-10 minutes of your time to complete this brief survey about your experience at our school because we value your feedback. The information you provide will help us to make more informed decisions and, in turn, make our school a better place for students and families.

Please note, you may receive and respond to two different surveys if you have children in two separate schools. Also, more than one parent may receive and respond to this survey if you have furnished your school with both email addresses. If you have not received your survey, please contact Mrs. Kleifges as soon as possible. Thank you!

Welcome Mrs. Jackson to the CAES Family!

Please join me in welcoming Mrs. Kim Jackson to Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School! Kim has a master of arts in teaching and joins us with several years of experience teaching intermediate and middle grade levels. As our new Teacher Assistant, she will support reading and math groups, assist teachers with project-based learning, substitute teach in all classrooms, and work in our extended care program. We also plan to utilize her expertise in marketing as we develop a strategic plan for branding our school!

2015 Tax Statements

Your 2015 tax statements came home with your child this week. Please note:

  1. Accounts are invoiced in advance. Although you may see a January 2015 payment, you will not see a January tuition invoice on your tax statement, since it was billed in December 2014. You will see a January 2016 invoice.
  2. Credit memos will not show up on your tax statement. Your tax statement only reflects charges actually made between 1/1/2015 and 12/31/2015. If an invoice was billed in error and later credited, the charge will still appear on your statement but the credit will not.
  3. The only number you actually need for tax purposes is the total payment amount.

Former family tax statements will be mailed next week. Please see Mrs. Kleifges or Mrs. Hasson should you have any other questions. Thank you!
